Operation Back on the Road
Help Forgotten Not Gone Get Back on the Road. We are building support for a secure storage, charging, and mission-ready facility to protect the Veteran Trike Brigade fleet and keep more veterans connected.
A Real Local Problem We Need to Solve
Forgotten Not Gone needs a better long-term solution to protect the Veteran Trike Brigade fleet.
Valuable assets, including adaptive cycling equipment, specialty cycles, batteries, wraps, tools, and support equipment, are being worn down by exposure and by the lack of a properly protected, mission-ready storage and charging space.
The goal is not to chase a perfect building size on day one. The goal is to solve the real problem: protecting the fleet so it stays mission-ready, better preserved, and available for veteran outreach.
From Scattered Storage to One Mission-Ready Facility
Forgotten Not Gone previously operated from a commercial location where the Veteran Trike Brigade fleet could be stored and managed in one place. Today, much of that fleet and support equipment is spread across seven different paid storage units along with shipping containers across Las Vegas.
That is not a sustainable long-term solution.
Forgotten Not Gone now needs one protected facility that can bring the fleet, support vehicles, batteries, tools, and equipment back together in one organized, mission-ready location. The current working vision is an approximate 30 x 80 garage or warehouse-style build, while keeping flexibility for the final design and size based on site conditions, donated materials, labor support, construction opportunities, and practical needs.
What Needs to Be Protected
Forgotten Not Gone is working to protect a massive, growing fleet and support system that includes approximately:
- 120 recumbent trikes and specialty cycles
- Velomobiles & Quad cycles
- A 24-foot box truck & 16-foot box truck
- A 12-passenger bus & pickup truck
- Batteries, tools, parts, wraps, and maintenance equipment
This campaign is about creating a protected storage and charging facility that can house and protect these assets so they remain ready for rides, outreach, and mission support.
What We Are Working Toward
Forgotten Not Gone is seeking support to build or secure an approximate warehouse-style storage and charging facility for the Veteran Trike Brigade fleet. The exact final dimensions may evolve based on site realities, donated materials, labor support, partner support, and construction opportunities.
This is not about being locked into one exact number. This is about solving a mission-critical problem.

Operation Back on the Road
Operation Back on the Road is Forgotten Not Gone’s effort to create the kind of operational base the mission now needs. This project is about more than storage. It is about protecting the assets that power veteran rides, outreach, and peer support.
The goal is not simply to keep pushing through temporary fixes. The goal is to build a practical protected storage and charging solution that helps Forgotten Not Gone move forward with greater consistency and strength.
Why This Matters
The Veteran Trike Brigade fleet is more than equipment.
These recumbent trikes, specialty cycles, and support vehicles help create opportunities for veterans to get outside, reconnect with others, move their bodies, and experience peer support through outdoor recreation.
When the fleet is harder to store, charge, maintain, organize, and protect, the mission becomes harder to deliver consistently.
A Project the Community Can Help Build
This campaign gives supporters a real local project they can help bring to life. Forgotten Not Gone welcomes support from:
Financial & In-Kind
- Financial sponsors
- In-kind donors
- Community partners sponsoring part of the project
Builders & Trades
- General contractors
- Garage & warehouse builders
- Subcontractors & trade partners
Supplies & Labor
- Material suppliers
- Discounted labor
- Donated labor or services
- Concrete, lumber, electrical, or site support
Support may come through funding, planning, materials, discounted labor, donated labor, donated services, or sponsorship of a portion of the build. Concrete, lumber, electrical work, and other practical trade support can also help reduce the cash needed. This is a practical project with many ways for local people and companies to plug in where they fit.

Help Build the Next Step
The $25,000 raised through the PENTA CARES Charity Poker Run was not the finish line. It was the first step toward protecting the fleet and building the next phase.
Operation Back on the Road is about building the protection, storage, charging access, and readiness the mission now needs. The $275,000 figure is a ballpark full build cost without donated materials, discounted labor, or in-kind support. The real goal is to get the fleet protected and the facility built.
