
LionHeart Veterans Ride: Pedaling for Purpose
On Monday, January 13th, 2025, Forgotten Not Gone proudly hosted the LionHeart Veterans Ride, a heartfelt event bringing together veterans and supporters to share in the healing power of outdoor recreation and peer connection. With nine dedicated riders covering 13.66 miles, this event was a powerful reminder of how veteran peer support and community engagement can combat isolation and prevent veteran suicide.

The route was both challenging and rewarding, beginning on Lone Mountain Road and winding through the lush landscapes of Craig Ranch Park. The serene beauty of the Las Vegas Wash Trail provided a perfect backdrop for reflection and conversation, while the journey along Valley Drive offered a chance to celebrate personal and collective achievements.
